Thank you in our time of need

To the editor: On behalf of my wife and children, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the tremendous support that we received from so many of you in regards to our recent fire. Your calls and notes of encouragement have astounded us ... and have humbled us. Time, nor space, permits us to acknowledge those of you who expressed your concern through cards, assistance or donations. Our special thanks goes to Marty Breedlove for noticing the fire, calling 911, making sure no one was in the house, containing the fire until help arrived and for saving our home from certain destruction. You are our new hero There were several local businesses that stepped in and provided exceptional support and should therefore be recognized. Our thanks go out to: the Prineville Fire Department for being so compassionate, and for providing exceptional efficiency with minimal damage to our home. Also, the Red Cross, the Emporium, the Mattress Factory(Bend), Community First Bank, Erickson’s Supermarket, Hanes Chiropractic Clinic, Rustler’s Roost Motel, Sun Home Video, Angie’s Espresso, Family Christian Book Store (Bend) and the Crook County High School. Several local congregations have also stepped in and supported us. We are so very thankful for your willingness to step across denominational lines to assist us. You have provided this community with a “more accurate” understanding of God’s church. Finally, our sincerest thanks go out to our own church family. You completely covered us with your love and as a result, you left us with very little need for grief. Words cannot express how thankful we are for each and every one of you. We are proud to be a part of you. Jay and Cheryl Jenelle, Jamie and Jayde Huntley Prineville Church of Christ
