HS to feature Guys and Dolls this weekend

The Crook County High School Theater Department and Thespian Troupe 4906 are gearing up for this weekend's showing of Guys and Dolls.
Featuring the talent of many Crook County performers including Chelsea Callan, Matt Deboodt, Jessica Rau and Justin Radabaugh, the play is set to kick off on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the high school auditorium. There will also be a Friday and Saturday showing starting at 7:30 p.m. and a Sunday matinee at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $6/adults, $5/students and under 11 is free.
Based on Damon Runyon's short story "The Idyll of Miss Sarah Brown," Guys and Dolls revolves around Nathan Detroit, the organizer of the oldest established permanent floating crap game in New York, who bets fellow gambler Sky Masterson that he can't make the next girl he sees fall in love with him.
The next girl he sees happens to be Miss Sarah Brown, a pure-at-heart Salvation Army-type reformer, and the stage is set for an hilarious evening of complications.
