y F. Masterson of Prineville died Dec. 29, 2001 at the Ochoco Care Center. She was 94 years old.
   She was born Nov. 27, 1907 in Redding, California to Thomas and Martha (McCloyd) Denson, the eldest of six children. She graduated from Crook County High School in 1928 and married Henry Jones that same year. They divorced in 1941 and she later married Fred Masterson.
   She received her Licensed Practical Nursing License in 1951 and worked at Pioneer Memorial Hospital until retiring in 1977. She took a two year break and served with the Peace Corp in Peru from 1962-64.
   She enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading. She also volunteered at the Senior Center as a driver for Meals on Wheels, and transporting people to doctors appointments.
   Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Arrdis and John McGraw of Prineville; sister, Mildred Matheus of Yearington, Nev.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her name to Pioneer Memorial Hospice or Prineville Senior Center.
   Memorial services will be held Mon., Jan. 7 at 3 p.m. at Whispering Pines Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Delbert Towell officiating. Private inurnment will follow at Juniper Haven Cemetery.
