ce Pauline York, 60, passed away on July 14, 2004, at her home in Gardner, Kan.
She was born in Caldwell, Idaho, to Paul Deitrick and Louise Packard Deitrick on Nov. 21, 1943.
Although she spent most of her life in Prineville, Alice also lived in Bethel, Alaska, before moving to Gardner 15 years ago.
She married Ronald Lee York on April 15, 1977 in Winnemucca, Nev.
She worked as a housekeeper and in the laundry at the Center for Long-term care CLC in Olathe, Kan. She also worked at the Medical Lodge Nursing Center in Gardner.
She is survived by her children, Paula Dyer and husband Larry of Bay City, Texas, Ronnie York of Prineville, Floyd York of Prineville, Todd York of Portland; brother Dwayne "Bud" Deitrick of Milwaukee, Ore.; sister Judy VanSickle of Grass Valley, Calif.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Tonya Fronatt.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Bruce Funeral Home in Gardner, Kan. Cremation will follow.
