Jerry Logan Russell

Jerry Logan Russell passed away Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, in Prineville, Ore. There will be no services.
   He was born on July 7, 1926 to William Dale and Mildred Ruth Russell in Drakesville, Iowa.
   Russell grew up in Forest Grove, Ore. He served two tours in the U.S. Navy and he was honorably discharged on Oct. 5, 1954. Jerry lived his last few years with his daughter and son-in-law Vicki and Harold Mangum in Prineville. He had stated that these were some of his happiest moments of his life.
   Survivors include: one son Bill Hulit of Bishop, Calif.; daughters Joan Russell-Hugo of Logan, Utah, Vicki Thompson-Mangum of Prineville and Bonnie D. Russell-Erickson of White City, Ore.; sister Bonnie Monks of Portland; 12 grandchildren and many wonderful great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Kahlar and two wives, Betty Baldwin and Zena Hayes.
