da Kathleen Moore, a resident of Prineville, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2005, at Rosetta Senior Living.
She was 81 years old.
There will be a memorial service at Prineville Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12, 2005 at 2 p.m.
Kathleen, as she was known to all her friends, was born in Big Spring, Texas on May 13, 1923 to Oliver and May (Boggs) O'Neal. Soon after her birth, and due to the Great Depression her family moved to Bard, Calif. They then moved to Oregon for a brief time. She eventually met and married Robert Moore in San Pedro California. The couple spent time moving between Oregon and California before settling in Prineville.
Kathleen was active in the Parent Teachers Association when her children were younger. She was also a member of the LA City Wives of Firemen Club, and she attended Powell Butte Christian Church.
Kathleen is survived by her loving husband Robert of Prineville, daughter and son-in-law Kandice and Bruce Dunn of Prineville, son and daughter-in-law Roderick and Shirley Moore of Snohomish Wash., son and daughter-in-law Jeffery and Faythe Moore of Salem, Oregon and son and daughter-in-law Scott and Meg Moore of Cove, Oregon. Twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive Kathleen.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Joseph McCullough, her parents, one brother, and five sisters.
Arrangements are in the care of the Prineville Funeral Home.
