Mahendrabhai S. Soni

Mahendrabhai S. Soni, a Prineville resident, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at his home. He was 68 years old.
   Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 1 p.m at Prineville Funeral Home.
    Mahendrabhai was born on October 12, 1936 in Borsad, India, to Santilal and Lilavati Soni. He was raised in India, where he attended college and studied engineering. He met and married his wife, Jasumati M. Soni on January 24, 1965. They came to the United States in 1979. He settled in Ontario, California, where he worked for Detoronics Corp which specialized in defense contracts. Upon retirement in 1992, he moved to Prineville, Oregon, where he owned and operated the Executive Inn. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling.
   Mr. Soni was a practicing Hindu.
   Mahendrabhai is survived by his wife Jasumati of Prineville, and sons; Dharmesh and his wife Crystal Soni, of Columbus, Ohio, and Viral and his wife Dipti Soni of Prineville, Oregon. One brother; Rameshbhai Soni of Diamond Bar, California, a sister; Pushpaben Soni of India, and two grandsons; Raja and Roshan Soni.
   It has been suggested that memorial contributions in Mahendrabhai's memory be to the charity of your choice.
   Arrangements are in the care of the Prineville Funeral Home.
