mas Edward "Tom" Kinsey was born August 20th, 1941 at Hermiston, Oregon to parents, Elmer Alonzo & Ardith Eileen (Calkins) Kinsey. He died Monday, February 7th, 2005 at his home in Irrigon, Oregon at the age of 63.
Tom was born in Hermiston and raised in Halfway, Oregon. He lived in Prineville, Oregon for many years before moving his family to Irrigon in 1980. He married Cecelia Lunders on August 23rd, 1975 at Prineville. Tom loved the outdoors, gardening at home, hunting, fishing, and camping in the mountains.
He is survived by his wife, Cecelia of Irrigon, Ore.; sons, Thomas Kinsey Jr. of Escondido, Calif., James Kinsey of Freemont, Calif., and Jacob Kinsey of Irrigon, Ore.; sister, Dorothy Beardall and her husband Norm of Santaquin, Utah; brother, Larry Kinsey of Hayden Lake, Idaho; two granddaughters, Kassandra of Escondido, Calif., and Kimberly of Umatilla, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Kinsey in 1954; mother, Ardith Kinsey in 2003; son, Richard Elmer Kinsey in 1959; brother, Jerry Todd Kinsey in 1998; brother, Fred Lee Kinsey in 2001.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11th, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville, Oregon.
There was a viewing for family and friends on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005 at Burns Mortuary of Hermiston.
