K’Bella Salon may have been open for two years, but it’s now expanding to provide more services to LINDSAY KEEFER - Lindsay Keefer | Woodburn Independent
Kayla Larm poses in the new area of K'Bella Salon that will be devoted to the spa, including massage, tanning and more.

The salon, located at 2200 Country Club Court, Suite D, is doubling in size with the opening of a spa, through which it will offer facials, massage, tanning and waxing. The spa also expands the salon’s space to 2,100 square feet.

Currently, the salon provides hair care as well as manicures and pedicures, and it employs four people; with the new expansion, the staff will double.

“I already have a loyal client base but it will be great for all the girls here to get more clients,” explained owner Kayla Larm, who noted that she the company name, K’Bella, uses her first initial and the Italian translation of beautiful.

The salon will host an open house this Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m., with food, drinks and prizes provided.

Larm, who lives in Mount Angel, pointed out that, despite temporary road closures and construction surrounding the nearby Interstate 5 Interchange, business is improving.

“I actually think it’s helping our business,” she said about the construction project. “We had four walk-ins just the other day.”
