Volleyball roundup: Kennedy loses rematch against Culver Bulldogs in 2A top-10 showdown
The Bulldogs lost a pair of games on the road last week against top 10 teams in the Mid-Willamette Conference.
Woodburn traveled to Lebanon Tuesday, losing 3-0 (25-7, 25-11, 25-15) to the No. 9 Warriors.
The Bulldogs then traveled to West Albany Thursday, losing 3-0 (25-3, 25-8, 25-7) to the No. 1 Bulldogs of the south.
Woodburn capped the week with a three-game tournament at North Salem High School Saturday. Results were not available at press time.
Woodburn (0-11, 0-8 Mid-Willamette) was scheduled to face Silverton Monday, followed by a home contest against Corvallis Wednesday.
The Huskies lost a pair of games last week but picked up their first set win against a conference opponent Thursday against Gladstone.

The Cougars dropped two home games last week to West Valley opponents.
Gervais lost 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-20) to Sheridan Tuesday, followed by a 3-0 loss (25-8, 25-13, 25-11) to Willamina two days later.
The Cougars (0-13, 0-9 West Valley) start a streak of four straight games on the road, beginning with a game against Dayton that was scheduled for Monday, followed by a trip to Horizon Christian Wednesday.

St. Paul opened the week at Country Christian with a 3-0 win (25-23, 25-10, 25-21), followed by back-to-back 3-0 victories against Jewell Thursday night.
The Bucks (13-3, 11-0 Casco) were scheduled to play against Willamette Valley Christian Monday night, followed by a home game against Perrydale Wednesday. The team finishes the week Thursday at home against Crosshill Christian and C.S. Lewis Academy.
