Farmers weigh in pumpkins at Bauman Farms
Some of the largest pumpkins and squash in the Northwest made their way to Bauman Farms Saturday for the Bauman Great Pumpkin Weigh Off.
The largest squash ever recorded in Oregon weighed in at 1,175 pounds. Its owner is Scott Holub of Eugene.
The winning pumpkin was 1,576 pounds and belonged to Clyde Wilson of Chehalis, Wash.
More than 30 giant pumpkins made their way to Bauman Farms during the annual event.

The giant pumpkins will be on display at Bauman Farms through Oct. 31. If youve never seen a pumpkin at more than 1,000 pounds, you are in for a surprise and delight. The Farm will have a large selection of pumpkins this size and bigger, making it one of the top weigh-offs in the country.
The Pacific Giant Vegetable Growers association (PGVG.org) oversaw and judged the giant pumpkins and squash at the farm.
