Lake Oswego voters renew school district levy
Lake Oswego voters approved Tuesday an extension of the school districts five-year local option levy.
Voters approved Measure 3-434 by a wide margin, with about 77 percent of voters saying "yes" to the levy.
The local option levy would cost about $1.39 or less per each $1,000 of assessed property value. Without the levy, Lake Oswego school officials said the district would have to cut about $7 million from its budget beginning in 2015-16.
