The holidays are all about traditions. This year, Woodburn Independent is starting a new tradition and everyone is invited to join in.
The newspaper will print your family holiday photos and greetings in a special issue published on Christmas Day, Dec. 25. This is your chance to spread some local holiday cheer by sharing your family photos with your friends and neighbors.
We hope this will become an annual tradition, Independent Publisher Nikki DeBuse said. Send us your photo greeting cards, or take a fun photo with your kids or pets. Dress up in holiday colors, put some antlers on the dog and write a special greeting from your family. Get into the holiday spirit and have some fun.
Holiday family photos can also be mailed to: Independent Holiday Cheer, P.O. Box 96, Woodburn, OR 97071.
You can also bring your photos to the newspaper office at 650 N. First St. in downtown Woodburn.
Please be sure to include the names of the people or animals in your photo. You can also include a short message. Please also add your phone number in case we have any questions.
The deadline to submit your holiday photos is 5 p.m. Dec. 19.
