A Woodburn man died and three others were injured in a two-car accident Sunday afternoon in Woodburn.

The Woodburn Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Mount Hood Avenue around 5 p.m. after receiving a call of a head-on crash.

Mount Hood Avenue was closed for nearly an hour and a half.

Three injured people were transported to the hospital from the scene by LifeFlight but one of the drivers, Theodore Lemieux, 56, of Woodburn, died at the scene. Police said his death appeared to be from an unrelated medical condition, which was the likely cause of the crash. Speed or alcohol did not appear to be factors. Reports indicate he died of natural causes.

The crash is still under investigation.
