Homicide suspect identifed

Police have identified the suspect in the Thursday stabbing that left one man dead and another critically injured.
Wayne Dinayog Nabehet, 47, was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on Friday on charges of Murder and Assault in the First Degree.
The names of the victims were not available.
Nabehet was arrested as the result of an investigation into Thursday afternoon's stabbing and homicide investigation in the 4700 block of Northeast 96th Avenue. After Nabehet surrendered to police, officers searching the home for additional victims located a body, preliminary identified as a 55-year-old male. Medical personnel confirmed the victim was deceased.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy on the deceased today to determine the cause of death and to confirm the victim's identity.
A 65-year-old man was critically injured by Nabehet and remains in a Portland hospital.
Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation.
