Rose Garden event
Monster Trucks are coming to Portland for the 'Monster Jam,' 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13 and 2 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Rose Garden.
Watch the likes of Grave Digger, Donkey Kong, Blue Thunder, Iron Man, The Patriot, Tropical Thunder, Obsession and Captain USA in all their mega-glory. The machines are 12 feet long and 12 feet wide, 1,500 to 2,000 horsepower, can fly up to 130 feet and show off by running over things.
Tickets are $20, $25 and $45, with $10 kids tickets available. They can be purchased at ComcastTIX.com, Safeway/TicketsWest outlets or by calling 1-877-789-7673.

Windell's camp
Windell's has space available for their President's Break Ski and Snowboard Camp, Feb. 13-19 at Timberline, Mt. Hood Meadows and Mt. Hood Skibowl. For info, go to www.windells.com.
Every U.S. Olympic medal winning snowboarder has attended Windell's, including Portland's Danny Kass and gold medalist Shaun White.
BICYCLING
Worst Day of Year Ride
The annual event features 3,500 riders traversing an 18-mile course around Portland. It starts at the Lucky Labrador Brew Pub, 915 S.E. Hawthorne Blvd., at 10 a.m. Feb. 14.
Cocoa and spicy chai tea and snacks such as doughnuts, fruit and soups are available along the ride. Entry is $10-$35. For more info, call 503-459-4508.
