Big tourney

Mark your calendars for Sunday, April 18, the day of the Portland Pinbrawl 2010 pinball tournament in Old Town. Some of the finest pinball players are expected to compete on a full-size Williams 'Johnny Mnemonic' pinball machine.

It'll be held at Ground Kontrol Classic Arcade, 511 N.W. Couch St.

The 2009 tourney drew more than 120 players; this year's tourney is capped at 128 players.

Portland Pinbrawl 2010 will also feature 'side stage' tournaments with highly challenging rules, including one-handed play and 'split flipper' player, where two players each control one side of the machine.
