The Multnomah County Fair has come and gone, but it's fair season all around the city.
As you plan your weekly excursions with family and friends, here's a rundown of some fairs around Portland:
Hood River County Fair
July 28 to 30
Hood River County Fair Grounds, Wy'East and Summit roads, Odell
Admission: $20 pass ($2 ages 6-12), $6 Wednesday-Friday, $10 Saturday ($2 ages 6-12)
Hours: Opens 8:30 a.m. each day, 1 p.m. carnival

Washington County Fair
July 29 to Aug. 1

Admission: Free, but rides and most events do charge
