THURSDAY, MARCH 17

Tiny Tots - 10 to 10:45 a.m., Gresham Library. Storytime for children, ages 12-24 months, with an adult.

Toddler Storytime - 10:15 to 11 a.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Storytime for children, ages 24-36 months, with an adult.

Family Storytime - 10:30 to 11 a.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to 6 years old with an adult.

Preschool Storytime - 11:15 a.m. to noon, Fairview-Columbia Library. Storytime for children, ages 3-6 years, with an adult.

Teen Council - 4 to 5 p.m., Troutdale Library. Make new friends, learn new skills, help the library, eat snacks and have fun. Teen Council members work with library staff to make the library more teen-friendly.

FRIDAY, MARCH 18

Pageturners Book Group - 10 to 11 a.m., Rockwood Library. Read 'Gilead' by Marilynne Robinson and have a conversation about plot, characters and books in general.

Book Babies - 10:15 to 11 a.m., Gresham Library. Storytime for infants up to 12 months old, with an adult.

Tiny Tots - 10:15 to 11 a.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Storytime for children, ages 12-24 months, with an adult. Babies up to 12 months old are also welcome.

Paper Flowers - 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Troutdale Library. Learn how to make exuberant paper flowers using colorful tissue paper.

Family Storytime - noon to 12:30 p.m., Rockwood Library. Storytime for children up to 6 years old with an adult.

The Voters Have Spoken: Oregon's Controversial Ballot Initiatives - 2 to 3 p.m., Troutdale Library. Linfield College professor Jackson Miller will lead a conversation about Oregon's citizen-generated ballot measures and 'direct democracy.'

Vintage Modern Jewelry Design - 2 to 4 p.m., Fairview-Columbia Library. Local artist and teacher Rachel O'Rourke will work with teens to create necklaces, bracelets and earrings using vintage jewelry supplies. Learn basic techniques including wire wrapping, soldering and assembling.
