ACCIDENTS
3/8/11 3:34 p.m. A 16-year-old driver nearly flipped a silver Honda in a too-fast excursion at the intersection of Bunick and Hastings drives.
THEFT
3/9/11 11:38 a.m. Valuables estimated at $4,800 were stolen in a car break-in at Hilton Garden Inn. Items taken included an Apple G4 iBook, two Garmin GPS systems, and miscellaneous CDs.
3/10/11 3:26 p.m. An iPhone and wallet were taken from a boy's backpack at Lake Oswego High School.
3/12/11 6:26 p.m. A gray sweater valued at $51 was stolen from a business on First Street. The image of a suspect was captured on video.
3/14/11 10:03 a.m. A thief smashed in a window on a car parked on Kruse Oaks Drive, stealing a Garmin GPS worth $200 and a Belkin FM transmitter valued at $50.
3/14/11 12:41 p.m. A tire was stolen off the front passenger side of an Impreza parked on Del Prado.
3/14/11 8:20 p.m. A potted plant-loving thief made off with some at a location on Quarry Road.
MISC
3/8/11 9:24 a.m. A dog is relieving itself all over the Bay View Lane neighborhood. The dog owner has been warned but has failed to curtail this breach of conduct.
3/8/11 10:46 a.m. Harassing phone calls are being made to a woman from a restricted number between 8 p.m. and midnight.
3/8/11 12:24 p.m. When a woman returned a call from a female solicitor, the man who answered the phone became very irate, saying he knew nothing about the woman salesperson or her product.
3/8/11 1:03 p.m. A 58-year-old woman showed up at a coffee shop on McVey Avenue from which she had been previously removed.
3/8/11 2:21 p.m. Two 5-year-olds rode their scooters onto a busy street, and they were not even wearing helmets. As it turned out, the tiny twosome had snuck away from their mother. She has now moved them to their backyard.
3/8/11 2:54 p.m. A park vagrant unsettled a resident on Foothills Road.
3/8/11 4:12 p.m. A former employee is sent e-mails claiming that someone is trying to kill him.
3/8/11 4:51 p.m. An estranged husband violated a restraining order about seeing his estranged wife.
3/8/11 5:24 p.m. A solicitor informed a homeowner that a 'No Soliciting' sign meant nothing to him.
3/8/11 5:27 p.m. A suspicious male was rustling through the bushes next to some apartments on Pacific Highway.
3/8/11 6:31 p.m. Police patrols will be cracking down on people who speed down Rosemont Road when kids are getting out of athletic practice.
3/8/11 6:39 p.m. A 17-year-old pregnant female was given a ride to police headquarters after she appeared to be disoriented.
3/8/11 7:27 p.m. A 17-year-old son reportedly threatened to kill himself, but he returned home without incident.
3/8/11 10:26 p.m. A loud stereo has been going for three days at an apartment on McVey Avenue, and it appeared that the resident was not at home.
3/9/11 9:35 a.m. An 8 ½-month-old baby was left locked in a blue Suburban. An officer stood by until a Pop-A-Lock provider arrived.
3/9/11 9:56 a.m. A dog owner was cited for not having a dog license after his golden retriever mix was taken into custody after running in and out of traffic.
3/9/11 12:35 p.m. A man is seeking to exercise finder's rights after his son found a bag with two airsoft guns, a knife and a broken gun.
3/9/11 12:58 p.m. A 14-year-old male client at a youth facility was being aggressive and threatening to hit others with a large piece of metal. The boy tried to hurt himself on March 8.
3/10/11 9:02 a.m. Due to problems with juveniles climbing over a fence at a business on Foothills Road, the owner inquired about the legalities of installing a fence with razor wire on the top.
3/10/11 9:48 a.m. A phony phone company solicitor came to the same person's house three times on Del Prado.
3/10/11 12:23 p.m. Some suspicious people claimed to be peddling for the military on Pilkington Road.
3/10/11 12:36 p.m. A briefcase, passport and purse were found near the Fairfield Inn on Meadows Road. The property was determined to be related to a previously reported car clout.
3/10/11 1:42 p.m. A lot of cats and a strong feces odor were reported at a residence on 65th Avenue.
3/10/11 7:14 p.m. A neighbor charged at a man and threatened him.
3/10/11 7:33 p.m. Drug dealing may be going on at Waluga Park, as five or six cars were observed parked together.
3/10/11 8:59 p.m. A man shoved a woman down on Mt. Jefferson Terrace.
3/10/11 9:18 p.m. A 12-year-old girl left home after an argument with her mom over grades.
3/11/11 4:25 p.m. After a homeless boy was advised to leave a residence, his parents claimed that he was not given a proper eviction notice.
3/11/11 9:59 p.m. A female wearing all dark clothes caused a hazard by skateboarding onto a roadway.
3/12/11 10:11 a.m. A man thinks his e-mail has been hacked after a subject wrote to him asking for money.
3/12/11 11:22 a.m. When told that his wife would be serving him divorce papers, a husband became upset and verbally combative.
3/12/11 1:16 p.m. A black female cat wearing a collar and bell was found at the U.S. Post Office on Boones Ferry Road.
3/12/11 3:37 p.m. Christmas trees are being dumped behind a location on Second Street and B Avenue. The trees are very dry and there is concern they are a potential fire hazard.
3/12/11 7:01 p.m. A nasty neighbor is blocking a woman's vehicle and being verbally abusive.
3/12/11 7:59 p.m. An apartment dweller keeps coming back to harass a couple by kicking their doors.
3/13/11 7:25 a.m. A dog at large chewed through a fence.
3/13/11 9:34 a.m. A mother is worried about her daughter since she called crying last night after a fight with her boyfriend. The daughter is not answering her phone and does not seem to be at home.
3/13/11 10:06 a.m. A Jack Russell terrier visiting from California suddenly ran off in the Lewis and Clark College area.
3/13/11 7:38 p.m. Teen girls clashed in an incident at a youth facility.
3/14/11 2:58 a.m. Upon hearing yelling, screaming and crashing, a caller suspected a fight between a man and a woman.
3/14/11 8:18 a.m. A search for a dog barking in an apartment failed to yield any results.
3/14/11 9:09 a.m. A 15-year-old son became very upset over a theft that occurred this weekend.
3/14/11 9:25 a.m. A woman driver talking on her cell phone ran several stop signs on Country Club Road.
3/14/11 12:35 p.m. Management is not doing anything about dogs running around at large on Foothills Drive.
3/14/11 2:09 p.m. Neighbors threatened a woman after she complained about their dogs taking bathroom breaks in her yard.
3/14/11 4:37 p.m. An estranged wife is refusing to sign paperwork.
3/14/11 6:37 p.m. A 15-year-old son is constantly causing domestic problems, and he is refusing to get counseling.
3/14/11 6:51 p.m. A husband and wife have been arguing for days, and now he is video taping her.
3/14/11 7:10 p.m. A large footprint left outside a window makes a woman suspect an intruder was in her backyard last night.
3/14/11 9:03 p.m. After drinking heavily, making worrisome statements and displaying anxiety and depression, a man was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
FRAUD
3/8/11 9:59 a.m. Unauthorized charges have been made on a woman's debit card by a suspect in Tanzania, Africa.
3/10/11 4:15 p.m. A counterfeit $10 bill was passed at a credit union.
