Miranda Martine, Holterhoff get all-stars honors

OREGON CITY - Clackamas Community College sophomore guards Miranda Martine and Melair Holterhoff were among those receiving recognition in the recent NWAACC women's basketball Southern Region all-star balloting.

Martine, a 2009 graduate of Rex Putnam High School, was named to the region's first team of all-stars; Holterhoff, a 2009 graduate of Oregon City High School, received honorable mention in the all-star balloting

Martine finished the regular season averaging 16.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2 assists; Holterhoff averaged 10.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 2.1 blocks and 2.2 steals.

Clackamas finished first in the Southern Region for the second year in a row, going 13-1 in conference play (23-2 overall).

CCC sophomore forward Shayla Ball (Hillsboro) was named the Southern Region's MVP. She averaged 21.1 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.6 steals and 3.1 assists.
