Police investigate possible gang shooting in NE Portland
Wounded man taken to hospital for treatment
Portland police are investigating a possible gang-related shooting Friday afternoon in the 10700 block of Northeast Fremont Street.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 2:45 p.m. They found a wounded man who was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Witnesses told police that several people ran from the area after the gun shots. Police set up a perimeter on Northeast Fremont Street from Northeast 102nd Avenue to 110th Avenue, and from Interstate 205 to Northeast Shaver Street.
Officers are looking for suspects and witnesses. Gang Enforcement Team investigators are at the scene.
