Vision Dance Team third in state
Teams finishes just three points out of second place

The Scappoose Vision dance team took third place at the Oregon School Activities Association Dance and Drill state championships last weekend at Memorial Coliseum.
Stayton won the classification title, while Crook County was second, just three points ahead of Scappoose.
The dance competition season began in January and concluded with the state championship.
Senior team captain Kayla Nollette also received an academic scholarship for the Dance and Drill Association. She plans to pursue nursing studies at the University of Portland this fall. The entire team ranks third in the state academically.
Final placement: Stayton, Crook County, Scappoose, Philomath, Gladstone, Molalla, Sweet Home, Astoria, Seaside, Banks.
