Only one candidate in school board race for Position 5
Patti Zebrowski, the only school board candidate who lives on the north side of the lake, is running uncontested for Position No. 1.
Zebrowski has been volunteering in the community for the last 12 years after moving to Lake Oswego from California.
'I really have a passion for both kids and education,' said Zebrowski. 'I've seen what a wonderful effect the education in Lake Oswego has had on my own children.'
She has served on the Oak Creek PTA, Oak Creek school advisory committee and the Lake Oswego Junior High PTO. Most recently she has served in two different capacities - both as treasurer and president - on the Lake Oswego High School PTO.
She and her husband Roland Wolfram have three children, Stephanie, sophomore at Georgetown University; Kelly, a senior at Lake Oswego High School; and Emily, a freshman at LOHS.
Zebrowski's career background is in business. She has worked as a management consultant as well as managing marketing departments for Hewlett Packard and Pacific Telesis (now AT and T).
'I'd love to use my background to help do some of the problem solving and make sure we keep what is the heart of a great education in Lake Oswego,' she said.
