A Tualatin man was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening in a Tigard shopping center.
The man, 22, called 911, reporting that two men approached him from behind after he got out of his car when he parked in the 13500 block of Southwest Pacific Highway at about 8 p.m. The first suspect demanded the victim's wallet and a second man struck the victim on the head with the handgun he was carrying.
The victim did not require medical treatment.
The victim described one suspect as having a light complexion and a colored heart tattoo with an arrow on his right forearm. The second suspect was a heavy set, white male about 5-feet, 9-inches tall.
The victim said the suspects emptied his wallet and threw it to the ground as they ran to a nearby vehicle. He described the vehicle as a green, mid-90s Honda Civic that was driven by a third person. The victim was not able to get the license plate.
