The Short List

MUSIC
Still a rollin' stone
Although just saying the name Bob Dylan conjures up visions of the turbulent 1960s, the truth is few musicians of his fame and stature have ever toured so far and so hard for so long after their initial impact on the scene. Have mercy, it's 2009 and the cat's still on the road! One of the English language's great wordsmiths, Dylan has never stopped sharing his darkest broodings, his brightest insights and his deepest thoughts - not to mention that his poetry is usually set to equally compelling, if often deceptively simple music. He hasn't just created a body of work, he's created a universe all his own, and it's still well worth exploring.
