Pros playing at Lincoln City
Some of the world's top professional female billiards players will be involved in the Pacific Coast Classic Championship Oct. 14-18 at Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City.
Defending champion Kelly 'Kwikfire' Fisher, Allison Fisher, Karen Corr and Ga Young Kim are among the players scheduled to appear.
At 7 p.m., Oct. 14, the Pro-Am Celebrity Shootout will take place, benefitting My Sisters' Place, a Lincoln City shelter for women and children. General admission is $15.
Competition sessions will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to midnight Oct. 15 ($8 each session) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ($8) and 6 p.m. to midnight ($15) Oct. 16; quarterfinals start at 1 p.m. Oct. 17 ($30 all day), and semifinals start at 1 p.m. and finals at 5 p.m. Oct. 18 ($30 all day).

Reel Rock-in'
The fourth annual REEL ROCK Film tour hits Portland at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8. Hollywood Theater, 4122 N.E. Sandy Blvd.
The tour will stop in 100 cities worldwide this year and features the newest and most exciting climbing films. This year's feature is 'Progression' by Big UP Productions and the short film 'First Ascent' by Sender Films and Nat Geo Adventure Channel.
Gear giveaways, climber appearances and fundraising for nonprofit organizations will also be part of the tour.
