OUT OF THIS WORLD
Inquiring Minds UFO Night
Will the U.S. elect a presidential candidate who claims he witnessed a UFO? Will said candidate (U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich, actually), if elected, appoint Shirley MacLaine his secretary of the Milky Way?
Will 'The X-Files' movie sequel - supposedly in production this month - finish filming in time for its planned summer release?
These certainly are issues worth bringing up at the first Inquiring Minds UFO meeting of the year. Held every first Sunday of the month at It's a Beautiful Pizza, the evenings include videos, photos and lots of frank discussion.
7 p.m. SUNDAY, Jan. 6, It's a Beautiful Pizza, 3342 S.E. Belmont St., 503-233-5444, free
