Parks and sheriff's crews deserved credit, too
The News-Times has gone to great length to tell the public about how the high school is taking over Forest Grove's north entrance by landscaping the area.
I would like you to know that thanks should be extended to the city parks department and the Washington County Sheriff's Office for all the work of cleaning the area so the school could 'landscape' the area.
Along the same line, both the parks and sheriff's departments were responsible for cutting, splitting and hauling wood to Vernonia this past week to help flood victims.
It would be nice if once in a while you people would give credit where it is due rather than to those that follow up on the hard work that has already been accomplished.
