Music lovers both young and old descended on the Olde School in St. Helens on Saturday night to help raise money for victims of the December floods. The concert, dubbed as 'Rainstock,' raised $1,500 within the first two hours, matching local business donations for a total count of $3,000.

'It was awesome,' said Danny Mays.

Mays and Jordan Freimuth, both seniors at Scappoose High School, assembled the concert over the course of three weeks. Around 200 people showed up to hear live music from a diverse line-up, including everything from country to fast-paced rock and roll. 'Everybody seemed to have a really good time,' Mays said. 'I think there was something there for everybody.'
