MILWAUKIE - Molalla was hot, and La Salle was not in a Capital Conference girls basketball game played here on Jan. 8, and as a result the seventh-ranked Indians prevailed 54-32.

The visiting Indians found the mark on 20-of-44 (.454) attempts from the field, while the Falcons found the mark on only 13-of-56 (.232) attempts.

The Falcons forced 28 turnovers in the losing effort.

Senior Colette Levesque headed the defensive effort with five steals.

Freshman wing Kylee Maughan tallied a team-high eight points in the losing effort. Allison Schlechter nabbed six rebounds.

Amanda Luna (24 points) was high-point for the Indians.
