Al Price died of natural causes, say officials
An Estacada man was pronounced dead at a McMinnville hospital last week after falling off of a step ladder while working at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum last week.
Al Price, 50, died of natural causes, according to an autopsy, on Tuesday, Jan. 8.
His death was initially believed to have been an accident. He was on the second or third step of a ladder when he fell-approximately two feet off of the floor-according to Hoffman Construction Operation Manager David Garske. He was pronounced dead at Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville.
Price, who lived in Estacada with his wife Peggy, was a Local 29 ironworker on the job with Columbia Wire and Iron. He had three sons.
A memorial service was held at Estacada First Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 12.
