Police recently filed reports on the following incidents:

ARRESTS

· 1/2, 10:23 a.m.; Vincent M. Yannello, 19, 19555 Willamette Drive No. 7, arrested at home for two counts of identity theft. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $30,000 bail.

· 1/8, 12:24 p.m.; A juvenile was arrested in the 5600 block of Hood Street for theft. He was referred to Clackamas County juvenile authorities.

WARRANT ARRESTS

· 1/6, 5:50 p.m.; Richard G. Koons, 22, Maupin: arrested on northbound I-205 near Hwy. 43 on a Wasco County probation officer's detainer for a probation violation for burglary. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail without bail.

· 1/7, 4:11 p.m.; Rockford H. Lang, 27, Vancouver, Wash.: arrested on northbound I-205 near 10th Street on a Multnomah County warrant for driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.

He also was charged with possession of less than an ounce of a controlled substance. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $10,000 bail.

· 1/7, 5:36 p.m.; Trent C. Blakeslee, 33, 5493 River St.: arrested at home on a Clackamas County warrant for a probation violation for driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended.

He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail without bail.

· 1/8, 3:39 p.m.; Kevin S. Hsarp, 40, address unavailable: arrested in Portland on a West Linn Municipal Court warrant for a probation violation for driving while suspended. He was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $10,000 bail.

· 1/6, 1:59 a.m.; Matthew A. Stevens, 25, Sherwood: arrested on northbound I-205 at Hwy. 99E on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail where he was cited and released.

· 1/7, 3:27 a.m.; Cody G. Schaber, 25, Milwaukie: arrested on northbound I-205 at Hwy. 99E on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail where he was cited and released.

· 1/8, 3:07 a.m.; Barnaby J. Biggs, 35, 5797 Perrin St.: arrested on northbound I-205 at Hwy. 43 on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail where he was cited and released.

TICKET BUT NO JAIL

· 1/2, 9:39 p.m.; Katrina P. Ellicott, 18, Oregon City, was cited and released near Mill Street and Willamette Drive for minor in possession of alcohol.

· 1/2, 9:39 p.m.; Nissa M. Stone, 18, Beavercreek, was cited and released near Mill Street and Willamette Drive for minor in possession of alcohol.

· 1/5, 12:29 a.m.; Christine B. Tacha, 20, 2765 York St., was cited and released near McKillican Street and First Street for minor in possession of alcohol by consumption.

THIEVES IN ACTION

· 1/3, 2:05 p.m.; An unknown person(s) used a $100 bill to buy a hamburger in a fast-food restaurant in the 2100 block of Eighth Court.

The server recognized the bill as fake, and the would-be criminal(s) drove away hungry in a 15-year-old sedan. For their investigation, police were given the vehicle license number and description.

· 1/4, 2:05 p.m.; A woman living in the 2300 block of Debok Road reported identity theft after she discovered that TV network and cell phone accounts had been opened in her name.

· 1/5, 11:23 a.m.; A woman living in the 3400 block of Chaparrel Loop reported illegal entry through an unlocked vehicle door overnight. Electronic equipment and a backpack were reported missing.

· 1/7, 9:24 a.m.; A man living in the 2000 block of Buck Street reported that two days earlier someone had taken some firewood from his backyard.

· 1/7, 7:08 p.m.; A West Linn woman reported that she used her checking account to cash checks in Olympia, Wash., for a 26-year-old friend and gave the money to him. Later she was told that the checks had been reported stolen.

West Linn police advised her to contact the Olympia police, where the crime occurred. She asked for extra patrols at her home.

JUVENILES

· 1/4, 5:36 p.m.; An anonymous cell-phone caller reported that a teen-ager was menacing a 6-year-old boy with a knife.

Police discovered that it was a much younger child, living in a nearby apartment, who had a Swiss Army knife - which was seized by police.

THEY'RE ALL ANIMALS

· 1/4, 8:15 p.m.; A woman called police because the 'mutt,' that she was watching for a neighbor in the 2600 block of Knox Street, was missing.

· 1/6, 10 a.m.; A man called police from his home in the 6000 block of Holmes Street to report that someone was trying to poison his dog by leaving an uneaten hot dog on his porch.

· 1/7, 5:37 p.m.; A woman living in the 4300 block of Imperial Drive called police after a man allegedly told his dog to attack the woman's dog, and it did.

Police contacted the man in the 4100 block of Imperial Drive and cited him for keeping a dangerous dog.

LIFE IN WEST LINN

· 1/2, 2:59 p.m.; A woman living in the 1200 block of Fall Oaks Court reported that her ex-spouse has blocked her vehicle from leaving her home.

Police advised that it was not a criminal issue, but tried to restore peace and asked the man to move the vehicle.

· 1/3, 9:36 a.m.; A woman living in the 5600 block of Alder Court reported that she has been receiving between two and five harassing phone calls each day for the past three months.

During each call, she said, nothing is said. Whoever is calling just listens. Police told the woman that no crime has been committed, and gave her advice about changing her phone number or blocking certain calls.

· 1/3, 9:10 p.m.; An employee of a business in the 2100 block of Eighth Court reported that he saw a driver dump out a beer can before the employee allegedly recognized alcohol on his breath and slurred speech. Police were given a description and license number, and they stopped the vehicle nearby.

Officers determined that the driver was not intoxicated.

· 1/4, 9:08 a.m.; A woman living in the 18000 block of Midhill Circle reported that two days earlier someone rang her doorbell, but when she went to the door there was no one there.

The woman asked police to provide extra patrols in the evening looking for suspicious persons.

· 1/4, 3:49 p.m.; A man living in the 2200 block of Crestview Drive reported that his ex-wife's husband came to his home and threatened his life, saying he was going to kill him.

After the man left, the ex-husband called police for advice or extra patrols.

· 1/5, 3:44 p.m.; A woman living near Marylhurst Drive and Midhill Circle reported that a man in a pickup truck has been racing around the neighborhood yelling that someone stole something from him.

Police located the 41-year-old man and he was transported by ambulance to a hospital for medical assistance.

· 1/7, 4:39 p.m.; A West Linn woman reported that her 23-year-old ex-boyfriend, who lives in California, has been having his friends harass her and her current boyfriend.

West Linn Police contacted police in the city where the ex-friend lives and asked them to contact the man and ask him to cease and desist.
