West Linn's swim teams rolled over Milwaukie last week, not receiving much of a challenge from the small Mustangs squad.
Each team won by over 100 points and swept multiple events. West Linn's boys took first and second place in the meet's first four events.
Greg Dyer, Steven Boe and Kenny Salkoski swept the 200 freestyle and Hans Farnbach, Arthur To and Anderw Koll did the same in the 200 individual medley.
Alex Jonsson, Brian Laderoute and Adam Oldenkamp placed first, second and third respectively in the 50 freestyle and Kevin Sellers followed with his first victory of the day in the 100 butterfly.
The Lions picked up another sweep in the 100 freestyle as John Bonoff, Tom Lord and Koll took the top three spots. Farnbach then won his second event of the day in the 500 freestyle.
After West Linn won the 200 freestyle relay, Jonsson won his second event, the 100 backstroke, and Sellers followed by capturing the 100 breaststroke.
As a result, the final score in the meet was 132-28.
Meanwhile, the girls had just as easy of a time, winning 137-21. The Lions swept all but two individual events and took first and second in each of the three relays.
In the 200 freestyle, Hayley McCrae and Rosa Bhutarak finished first and second and Jessica Broberg followed with a victory in the 200 IM.
Alexandria Nahmie won the 50 freestyle and Bhutarak followed with a convincing win in the 100 butterfly.
Nahmie picked up her second individual victory in the 100 freestyle and Elliot Prince won the 500 freestyle by nearly an entire minute. Her time in that event topped the winning time in the boys event.
Josie Sells won the 100 backstroke, followed by Prince and McCrae and Whitney Finnerty picked up a win in the 100 breaststroke to complete the sweep in individual events for the Lions.
Next up for West Linn is Putnam today (Thursday) at North Clackamas.
