SHERWOOD - The Lady Bowmen just keep on winning.
And they picked up their latest victory in dominating fashion.
The Sherwood High School girls basketball team ran to a 70-35 victory over Century in a Northwest Oregon Conference game played Tuesday at Sherwood.
With the victory, the Lady Bowmen improved to 3-1 in NWOC play, putting them in a tie with Hillsboro and Liberty for second place in the league standings.
Wilsonville, which scored an 84-39 home win over St. Helens on Tuesday, leads the league with a 4-0 record.
Senior post Megan Van Noy led Sherwood to the win over the Jaguars with a game-high 15 points.
Senior Jessi Ramp added 12 points while seniors Alex Francis and Melany Boulton added seven points apiece.
With the victory, Sherwood also improved its overall record to 12-2.
Prior to the win over Century, the Lady Bowmen posted a 61-32 win over St. Helens in a league game played Tuesday at Sherwood High School.
Senior Brooke Davis led the way for the Lady Bowmen in that win with 19 points.
Van Noy scored 10. Junior guard Heather McGee scored nine points.
Sherwood will be back in action Friday when they play at Hillsboro in a league game starting at 5:45 p.m.
On Tuesday, the Lady Bowmen will play at Glencoe in a league contest starting at 5:45 p.m.
Both Friday at Hillsboro and Tuesday at Glencoe are varsity doubleheaders with the boys teams playing those nights at 7:15 p.m.
Sherwood's next home geme will be Jan. 25 when it hosts Liberty in a 7:15 p.m. league game.
