No. 4 Huskies race past the Rangers in 60-33 win at North Marion
Lady Rangers fell to 0-3 in Capital Conference last week
The North Marion Huskies pounced on the Lady Rangers varsity basketball team Friday night in Aurora. The Huskies downed Estacada 60-33.
Despite the 27-point loss, Estacada coach Mike Morris felt good about the game. After all, the Huskies had beaten no. 1-ranked Gladstone by 21 points three days earlier.
'Tonight was hopefully a turning point as far as the way we're going to play,' Morris said.
Morris said his girls, who have struggled to gel on the court, passed the ball well and took good open shots.
'Tonight, by their own admission, they just felt like they finally started playing as a team,' Morris said.
The girls will host Molalla at 5:30 on Friday, Jan. 25.
