Lottery players win big

Oregon lottery players in Clackamas County claimed a total of $185,369,350 in prizes of more than $600 in traditional lottery games from January through December 2007.
The big winner was Daniel Gannon of Milwaukie. Gannon won a $182.7 million Powerball jackpot prize in April of 2007. His prize was the second largest Powerball jackpot ever won by an Oregon Lottery player.
Clackamas county prizewinners of $50,000 of more included Richard Atwood of Molalla and Ted Monteith of Sandy, each with a $200,000 Powerball prize. Other big winners included Hardy Dimick of Canby, $60,000 'Diamond Dazzler 9X' Scratch-It, Holly Gove of Oregon City, $60,000 'Diamond Dazzler' Scratch-It, Bobbi Knight of Wilsonville, $56,697 Keno; and Donald Wright of Oregon City, $50,000 Keno.
Four hundred seventy-five players won prizes of $1,000 or more in Clackamas County. Overall, 820 players won prizes of more than $600 in traditional Lottery games.
