Robert Edgar Harold
Robert Edgar Harold of Lake Oswego died of natural causes on Feb. 15, 2008. He was 87.
He was born Feb. 20, 1920, in St. Louis, Mo., then moved to Southern California where he was raised. He was a graduate of South Pasadena High School and attended Pasadena Junior College.
In l941, he married Frances Goldie, and then served in the army during World War II.
Prior to retiring in l992, Mr. Harold was the president of Kirkhill, Inc. a rubber manufacturing company. He and his wife have lived in Lake Oswego since 2002.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Frances Harold; his daughter, Elizabeth King of Annapolis, Md.; his son Robert E. Harold of Portland; his son James Harold of Steubenville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be said today, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. at The Sisters of the Holy Names Chapel, Marylhurst.

Delores O. Hall
Delores O. Hall died Feb. 10, 2008. She was 76.
She was born Feb. 4, 1932, to William and Jeanette (Shank) Ortiz in Baltimore, Md. She graduated from Eastern High School in Baltimore in 1950.
Her family moved to Lake Oswego in the mid-1960s, and she worked for a short time at United Radio as a secretary before she went to work for the Department of Environmental Quality. She later went to work for the Port of Portland and retired from that position in 1996.
In her retirement she traveled and volunteered with the Lake Oswego Library and Meridian Park Hospital.
Survivors include her sons James Hall of San Diego, Calif., Steve Livingston of Newberg, daughter Jeanne Sundberg of Tualatin, brother Henry Ortiz of San Francisco, Calif., and seven grandchildren. Her daughter Carol Livingston died in 1988.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alternative Burial and Cremation of Oregon.
