Among the candidates speaking at the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce’s Community Leader’s Breakfast were from left, Matthew Green-Hite, Lori DeRemer and Trent Tidwell.

Candidates running for seats on the recently expanded five-member Clackamas County Board of Commissioners spoke in Lake Oswego last Thursday.

The Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce hosted a Community Leader's Breakfast at Oswego Lake Country Club.

Nine of the candidates were able to attend and each gave a short presentation. Following the presentations, Lake Oswego attorney Rob LeChevallier of Buckley LeChevallier moderated prepared audience questions.

Candidates running for the commission are: Commissioner Lynn Peterson, Lake Oswego, running for chair; District 3: Raymond Nelson and Commissioner Martha Schrader running for re-election; District 4: Charlotte Lehan, Matthew L. Green-Hite, David Mowry; District 5: Lori DeRemer, Emil Hnidey, Katherine Kehoe and Trent Tidwell. Hnidey was unable to attend.
