Sally Jo Drake of Holland, Mich., and Donald Edward Jr. of Gresham were married Dec. 28, 2007, at Church of the Nazarene in Holland.
The guests stood as witnesses to the double-ring wedding officiated by Pastor Ross Naylor-Tatterson. The bride wore a tea-length midnight blue dress and carried three long-stemmed red roses.
The bride is the daughter of Monroe and Johanna Mullet, both deceased. She graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in Dowagiac, Mich., and from Western Michigan University. She is an administrative assistant for Indonesian Partnership.
The groom is the son of Donald and Ruth Edward of West Olive, Mich. He graduated from West Olive High School and Grand Valley College. He is a regional manager for Northland Express Transport.
The wedding's honored guests included the bride's daughters, Mara Yeager and Shira Gongolski of Michigan; sons, Randal Bradakis, Andrew Drake and Seth Drake of Michigan; their spouses; and 16 grandchildren. The bride's sons, Andrew and Seth, were the candle lighters.
A wedding reception followed in the church's reception hall. The couple took a cross-country trip for their honeymoon.
Sally Jo and Donald Edward Jr. will make their home in Gresham.
