Hit-and-run injures woman crossing Holgate Boulevard

Portland police are looking for a tan minivan in a Thursday night hit-and-run that injured a 29-year-old woman who was crossing Southeast Holgate Boulevard.

Police were called at about 9:02 p.m. to Holgate Boulevard and 122nd Avenue, where they found the woman suffering from non-life threatening injuries. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The woman's name and medical condition have not been released. Police said she was not in a crosswalk at the time of the accident.

The woman was apparently crossing Southeast Holgate Boulevard from 122nd Avenue when the late-1980s or early 1990s minivan traveling west struck her. The van continued traveling west after the accident.

Traffic at the intersection was closed during the investigation, but was reopened a short time later.
