Benefit set for Forest Grove baby in need of operation for tumor

Fund-raiser - Medical expenses for Andi Robison's surgery could top $6,000
A pie and ice-cream social benefit for nine-month-old Andi Grace Robison, who is suffering from an opthalmic tumor, will be held this Saturday, March 15 in Emanuel Lutheran Church, Cornelius.
The social is at 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall at the church, 1124 Beech St.
Andi, the youngest child of Jennifer and Robert Robison of Forest Grove, was born with vision problems and has been under the care of a pediatric ophthamologist since she was two months old. She was diagnosed with with a hemangioma by a specialist and will require surgery on April 3.
Jennifer Robison will travel with Andi to St. Lukes Roosevelt Hospital in New York City on March 31 to consult with doctors before the operation. Medical and travel expenses, which could exceed $6,000, will be partially funded by proceeds from the social.
Tickets for the social are $5 and may be purchased in advance by calling the church office, 503-357-3377, or at the door.
The event will include a silent auction and special entertainment throughout the evening.
Cash donations may also be sent to Emanuel Lutheran Church, noting 'Vision for Baby Andi Robison' on the check.
