Swim coach slates tryouts

OREGON CITY - Oregon City Swim Team coach Matt Crum has extended an invitation to youth ages 6-18 in Oregon City and surrounding communities to try out for the team.

The only requirement is that a prospective team member demonstrate that he or she can swim both the backstroke and crawl for 25 meters.

'They do not have to live in Oregon City,' said Crum. 'Many of our swimmers come from Milwaukie, Gladstone, West Linn and Clackamas in addition to Oregon City. To schedule a tryout, they just need to give me a call.'

Crum can be reached at 503-655-4169.
