Victim not cooperating with police
A man apparently shot in the chest during a Sunday night incident is not cooperating with the investigation, according to Portland police.
The 21-year-old black male walked into Portland Adventist Hospital with a gunshot wound around 10:45 p.m., approximately 15 minutes after police responded to reports of shots being fired and men running from the area of Southeast 122nd Avenue and
Southeast Division Street.
Although the man admits being in the area of the incident, police say he not providing any other information about it.
Hs name has not been released. Police describe the wound as non-life threatening.
