King City police responded to a report of an armed robbery at 11555 S.W. 116th Ave. at Coffee Time. It is currently being investigated.

King City police responded to a call of damaged property at 13620 S.W. Beef Bend Road. Someone tore down a fence and broke a door and window at the victim's home.

King City police cited Michael Bell and towed his vehicle for driving while suspended following a traffic stop; Auto Haus towed his vehicle.

King City police cited Ricardo Pascasio for driving while suspended following a traffic stop on 99W. Pascasio was issued citations and released, and his vehicle was towed.

Injury crash

King City police responded to a traffic crash at Hwy 99W and Fischer Road involving two vehicles. The driver of a red Honda Accord failed to stop for a red light and T-boned a gray Saturn SL. Brian Harvey of Tigard was cited for failure to obey a traffic device and careless driving. Both vehicles were towed from the scene, and one person was taken to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.

AED/death

King City police responded to an AED (automated external defibrillator) call at 11777 S.W. Queen Elizabeth. Police, TVF and R and Metro West Ambulance were called regarding a cardiac patient. The attempts to resuscitate were not successful, and the patient was declared deceased.

Criminal mischief

King City police are investigating criminal mischief to a vehicle on Fischer Road and 125th Place. Someone shattered the left rear passenger window on an Audi A4.

Agency assist

King City police along with Tigard and Tualatin police and the Washington County Sheriff's Office assisted on a disturbance call involving firearms and baseball bats on Sunset Court in Sherwood.

Hit and run

King City police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle near Royalty Parkway and King Charles and later determined that the vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run accident. The vehicle was knocked 50 feet up onto the sidewalk. On March 14, police made an arrest in the case, citing the driver for failure to perform duties of a driver, reckless driving and first-degree criminal mischief, and then releasing him.

Police officer hold

King City police responded to an unresponsive 18-year-old male at the Best Western Hotel. The male was treated and transported by Metro West Ambulance to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. After investigating the incident, police placed a police officer mental hold on the subject.

Suspicious person

King City police were investigating a possible stalking incident that had been taking place at Grocery Outlet but had not located the suspect.

King City police assisted the Washington County Sheriff's Office with a domestic disturbance at the Beef Bend Court Apartments. Wendy Polanco was taken into custody for second-degree assault.

King City police took a report of a theft of a performance CD from the Deer Creek Elementary School, and the case remained under investigation.

King City police took a report of a possible theft of lost/mislaid property, specifically an Oregon driver's license.

King City police investigated an out-of-control juvenile problem in Mountain View Estates and determined that no crime was committed; the case was referred to DHS.

Unwanted

King City police investigated a report of an unwanted male at 17297 SW 136th. No crime had been committed, but the subject was trespassed from the location.

Saturday, Feb. 16

Driving while suspended/misdemeanor

King City police arrested John Wayne Skyles for driving while suspended/misdemeanor during a routine traffic stop at the Arco service station. Police issued Skyles a citation to appear in court and released him.
