Courtney Cook and Philip Gosvener of Killeen, Texas, were married Dec. 23, 2007, at The Inn of Ozarks Convention Center in Eureka Springs, Ark.

The small, double-ring ceremony was attended by family and friends.

The bride is the daughter of Randall and Katrina Hine of Altamont and Jim Cook of Lake Oswego. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Sondra Torchia of Holiday Island, Ark., Bill and Nita Billman of Altamont and Wayne and Alice Banzet.

She provides tutoring services and plans to graduate in May from Regent University in West Virginia.

The groom is the son of Philip and Judy Gosvener of Gresham. He graduated in 2003 from Newport High School.

He is serving in the Army as a crew chief on Apache helicopters and is stationed at Fort Hood in Texas. He will be deployed to Iraq for a second tour of duty within the coming months.

Hollie Shepard, the bride's sister of Joplin, Mo., was the maid of honor. The best man was Jason Young, the groom's best friend and a fellow soldier.

A reception followed the ceremony. The couple traveled to Branson for their honeymoon and returned to Holiday Island to celebrate Christmas with the family.
