Grant Watts students have gotten involved with the annual auction by creating art pieces in their classrooms for Saturday night. Each classroom did a project ranging from hand-painted strawberry pots, student-decorated memory boxes, student self-portraits and one-of-a-kind ceramic clocks. Each classroom also donated themed baskets which include a chocolate lover's basket, camping fun, beach party, and sports and fitness. Grant Watts' 12th annual spring auction is this Saturday, April 19. Doors will open at 5 p.m. The auction, which benefits students, includes three silent auctions and an oral auction that begins at 7 p.m. Raffle prizes and door prizes will be given. Grand prize is a $100 gift certificate to McCormick and Schmick's Restaurant. More than 300 items have been donated.
