Event will feature raffle, craft booths and barbecue
Cruzin' 4 Life will sponsor a 'Tractor Pull' and a 'Cruizin' - a classic car cruise-in - along with a Family Fun Fair, in Hubbard on Saturday, July 12, to raise funds for seven disease education and prevention non-profits. The event, organizers said, will bring together families, friends and supporters and will raise awareness of diseases in the community. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society, the Vasculitis Foundation, the Nemours Foundation (ADHD), the Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, the Autism Society and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The event will feature a 200-plus-item raffle, craft booths, and a hot dog and hamburger barbecue. In addition, they will be holding a silent auction throughout the event, offering vacation packages plus items donated by local businesses. Trophies are being awarded in 19 categories; special trophies include 'Kids' Choice,' 'People's Choice,' 'Best Bike' (for motorcycles), and the 'Bremer's Corner Special Award.'
Event organizers urge community members to bring their families and 'enjoy eating around a pond and playing a few games.' The event will be located at Bremer's Corner, 6677 Highway 211, Hubbard.
