Wayne F. Kelly
Longtime Lake Oswego resident Wayne F. Kelly died April 14, 2008, in Maui Memorial Hospital. He was 85.
Mr. Kelly was born Aug. 17, 1922 in Minnetoka, Minn.
He married Marilyn 'Mary' Ritterhoff on Sept. 25, 1948, and the couple moved to Lake Oswego that year.
Mr. Kelly started a water treatment business in 1960, which his son Michael took over upon his retirement.
Survivors include his wife Mary of Lake Oswego, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Cheryl of Oregon City, daughter and son-in-law Kit and Steve Laam of Corvallis, sister Marge Schulte of Tulsa, Okla., a grandson and great-granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held Friday April 25, at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 11511 S.W. Bull Mountain Road in Tigard.

Betty Lofquist died April 8, 2008 in Bend from cancer. She was 83.
Mrs. Lofquist was born July 11, 1924, in Portland to Reed and Alice Moore. She attended Jefferson High School and Oregon State University.
She married Walter Lofquist, Jr. Aug. 19, 1944, in Santa Ana, Calif. and the couple lived in Lake Oswego then moved to Dundee and finally to Bend in 1988.
Mrs. Lofquist was among the founders of Local 14 Artists and belonged to the group for more than 30 years. She was a painter, collage artist and weaver. Her art was displayed at Mirror Pond and Blue Goose Galleries in Bend and other galleries throughout Oregon.
Survivors include her husband Walter Lofquist, daughter Diane Lofquist-Gavino and sons Martin Lofquist and Jon Lofquist, all of Bend; and her sister Kathryn Stager of Lake Oswego, nine granchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Sparks Lake in Central Oregon.
