Next: The LumberJax (6-9) close out the National Lacrosse League regular season at Buffalo (9-6) at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The playoff-bound Jax can place third in the West Division with a win and a Calgary (6-9) loss at Edmonton, which has been eliminated from playoff contention. Third place means a possible home playoff game, if the third and fourth West teams upset the top two teams in the playoffs.

The NLL's Champions Cup playoffs are May 2 through May 4 and culminate with the championship game two weeks later. As it stands now, the Jax would open at Colorado (9-6) or San Jose (8-7) -those two teams play at San Jose on Saturday for the West title. The loser would play the West's third-place team.

Only Buffalo has clinched an East Division playoff berth.
